Toasting the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring with our “world famous” Lavenade.™

As we toast the end of Winter, the vibrant golden blooms of the kōwhai are a welcome reminder that spring is just around the corner.

Here at the lavender farm, we're busy preparing for the season ahead. Although our lavender won't burst into its beautiful purple bloom until November, there's plenty happening behind the scenes. From August through to November, our team will be hard at work hand-weeding the fields to ensure the plants thrive, while we continue planting native Leptinella ground cover between the rows to support biodiversity and create a healthier landscape.

We're also looking forward to welcoming visitors back when our guided lavender farm tours begin in November. We can't wait to share another beautiful flowering season with you.
